As part of a joint charity initiative of Kyivstar and the Come Back Alive Foundation, We Live Here, concerned Ukrainians and businesses have united to help demine the country. UAH 87.5 million has already been accumulated for the collection. In particular, since June this year, Kyivstar subscribers have transferred UAH 10 million of this amount by activating the charity Super Power Dopomoga ZSU.
The goal of the campaign, initiated by Kyivstar and the Come Back Alive Foundation for Competent Assistance to the Army with the partnership support of 1+1 media group, is to raise UAH 175 million. The funds will be used to purchase equipment and vehicles for sappers of 146 engineering and sapper groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The modern equipment will help protect the lives of the defenders engaged in demining and accelerate the liberation of Ukraine’s territory and its waters from the dangerous legacy of war and occupation.
An important mission
“We are grateful for every donation and support of this crucial initiative for the country. Our goal is to provide all 146 engineer brigades with equipment, and for this we need to raise another UAH 87.5 million. Please join the project. This is our joint assistance to the sapper heroes who are the first to enter the de-occupied cities and villages of the country,” said Hanna Zakharash, Kyivstar’s Corporate Communications Director.
Assistance in demining is an important mission for Kyivstar, so the national mobile operator has already transferred UAH 20,000,000 to the collection.
Anyone can make an individual contribution through the We Live Here initiative website. Kyivstar subscribers can activate a unique charity Superpower called Help for the Armed Forces – a special subscription that allows them to make a monthly donation of up to UAH 50 for demining just by using their mobile phone. The donation is automatically deducted from the tariff payment at no additional cost to the subscriber as long as he or she has activated the Superpower Dopomoga ZSU, which is available in most Kyivstar subscription plans.
How to participate
How to participate in the collection to help the sappers:
- make sure that your tariff has the Super Power Help for the Armed Forces of Ukraine – it is easy to do in the My Kyivstar application;
- Connect Superpower Help for the Armed Forces – you can do this through the My Kyivstar app, by calling 500 or by USSD request *550*11*1#;
- Just pay for your tariff as usual, and Kyivstar will transfer up to UAH 50 from each tariff payment to the “Come Back Alive” fund.

“For Us to Live Here” is a joint project of the Come Back Alive Foundation and Kyivstar, which started in May 2023 and will continue until the target amount of UAH 175 million is reached.
