Kyivstar’s press service today announced that the operator’s network continues to recover from the largest cyberattack in the telecom industry .
Over the past 24 hours, the company’s specialists have restored international voice roaming services, fixed the problem with call drops, and stabilized the connection in Kyiv.
Currently, over 95% of mobile base stations on the territory controlled by Ukraine are in working order. Subscribers have access to voice communications, including international roaming, and Home Internet services.
Restoration of 4G Internet
Since yesterday, the company’s specialists have started restoring access to mobile data services, particularly in western Ukraine. However, 4G internet is still not available in the capital and other major cities.
Today, the company plans to further restore data transmission services. Technical work is being carried out gradually, in compliance with all security requirements, the company says.
When it will work at 100%
Kyivstar will report 100% service availability upon completion of all stabilization measures.
The company’s specialists are working to resolve short-term problems with the quality of communication in some localities.
