Kyiv region changes the phone code to “45”
Starting October 14 Kiev region introduced a new separate phone code “45” instead of the old “044”, which now will be used exclusively for Kiev ( “44”).
For long-distance phone calls to Kiev Oblast customers, dial “0” (wait for continuous tone), then – “45” and the last two digits of the existing code of settlement, then without further interval – the phone number.
For example, if one have to call to Barishivka village, 0-4576 and phone number should be dialed.
It’s necessary to recall that since October 14 a new dialing for long-distance and international will be imposed.
