Earlier this month, iQOO launched the iQOO 12 series in its domestic market. Now the brand is preparing to introduce the iQOO Neo 9 series in China. The Neo 9 series will consist of two models – iQOO Neo 9 and iQOO Neo 9 Pro. iQOO has confirmed that it will launch the Neo 9 series next month, i.e. in December in the Chinese market.
Ahead of the launch, MySmartPrice spotted the upcoming iQOO Neo 9 Pro on the Chinese 3C certification site. The iQOO Neo 9 series will replace the Neo 8 series, which debuted in May in China.
iQOO has not yet revealed the release date of the iQOO Neo 9 series in China, but the brand has shared the first teaser confirming the design of the iQOO Neo 9 series. Let’s take a closer look at it.
iQOO Neo 9 Pro appeared on the 3C certification website under the model number V2339A. The list indicates that the chargers with model numbers V12060L0A0-CN and V12060L1A0-CN. Both of these chargers are capable of delivering up to 120W. This means that iQOO Neo 9 Pro will support 120W fast charging, just like its predecessor.
According to the list, iQOO Neo 9 Pro chargers can deliver 15W (5V/3A), 18W (9V/2A), 66W (11V/6A) and 120W (20V/6A). These chargers also support 15W (5V/3A), 27W (9V/3A), 36W (12V/3A), 45W (15V/3A), and 100W (20V/5A) output power via USB Power Delivery. It also supports up to 100W (5-20V/5A) output via PPS protocol.
The teaser shared by iQOO shows the iQOO Neo 9 series smartphone in red color. The phone will have a two-tone finish and a white vertical stripe on the back. The smartphone will have a dual rear camera. The body of the smartphone is made in a plastic frame.
It is expected that iQOO Neo 9 will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor under the hood. The Pro model is rumored to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC.
