This month, iQOO will introduce the iQOO Neo 9 series of smartphones in China. The upcoming iQOO Neo 9 lineup is expected to include two devices, namely iQOO Neo 9 and iQOO Neo 9 Pro. Ahead of the official launch, the vanilla iQOO Neo 9 smartphone was spotted on the 3C certification site two days ago. The certification listing showed that the device will support 120W fast charging. In addition to the 3C certification, the Digital Chat Station website also revealed possible specifications of the device. Recently, the iQOO Neo 9, like the iQOO Pad Air, appeared in the list of supported devices on Google Play ahead of the launch.
iQOO Neo 9 and iQOO Pad Air have been added to the list of devices supported by Google Play. In addition, these devices are listed with model numbers V2338A and iPA2451, respectively. As for the specifications of the iQOO Neo 9, the device is expected to feature a 6.78-inch display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The device is expected to ship with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The smartphone is expected to have up to 12GB/16GB of RAM. We can expect the device to load Android 14 out of the box.
As for other key features, the smartphone boasts a 50MP triple camera setup and a 16MP selfie camera. The 5,160 mAh battery is likely to be equipped with a device that will support 120W fast charging, which is confirmed by the 3C certificate.
Currently, iQOO has not announced the launch date of the iQOO Neo 9 series in the Chinese market. However, given that the devices of this line have recently started to receive few certificates, we can expect the company to announce the launch date of the iQOO Neo 9 line soon.
As for the iQOO Pad Air, the specifications of this upcoming tablet are still unknown. Recently, Digital Chat Station posted on Weibo the specifications of an unknown iQOO tablet, which we suspect may belong to the iQOO Pad Air. According to the information, the upcoming iQOO tablet will be equipped with an 8.8-inch display. This upcoming tablet is rumored to have a Dimensity 9300 SoC under the hood. The source also said that iQOO may announce this tablet after the Vivo Pad 3 in the second quarter of 2024.
It’s also possible that the iQOO Pad Air could appear as a rebranding of the Vivo Pad Air, as the codename (DPD2305) of both of these tablets seems to be the same. If this is the case, the iQOO Pad Air could have an 11.5-inch IPS LCD display, Snapdragon 870 SoC, up to 12GB of RAM, 512GB of internal storage, an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel selfie camera, and an 8500mAh battery.
