A new leak has revealed some key details about Xiaomi’s next-generation flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. The leak revealed information about the camera, battery, and charging characteristics of the upcoming device. So, here are all the details.
Specifications of Xiaomi 14 Ultra
The information came from a well-known informant at Digital Chat Station, who shared the news on Weibo (a Chinese microblogging site). For those who are not in the know, the company has already announced the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro, making the Ultra variant the third in the flagship series. Now, DCS claims that the upcoming smartphone will be equipped with a Sony LYT900 f/1.63 main sensor, which is equivalent to an aperture of f/4.3 ± full frame.
This also means that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be able to absorb more light than its predecessor. This is in line with a previous leak that also hinted at a Sony LYT900 sensor. The phone is believed to have four 50-megapixel cameras on the back with different focal lengths. In addition, the source also talked about the capacity of the battery that powers the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, as well as its charging capabilities.
Earlier, Digital Chat Station revealed that the mystery device called Venti will contain a 5180 mAh battery that supports 90W of wired and 50W of wireless fast charging. Initial reports hinted at a larger 5500 mAh battery, but the latest leak also confirms that the battery capacity is 5180 mAh. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is expected to hit the market in April next year, which coincides with the launch of the Vivo X100 Ultra. Unfortunately, that’s all the information we have at the moment, so stay tuned.
