The International Monetary Fund is forecasting that Ukraine’s GDP will grow by 3.7% in 2010, 4.1% in 2011, and 4% in 2015.
This is stated in the International Monetary Fund’s World Economic Outlook for April.
The International Monetary Fund does not release information concerning GDP growth forecasts for 2012-2014.
The International Monetary Fund is also forecasting that the inflation rates in Ukraine will be 9.4% in 2010 and 9.0% in 2011.
The average yearly inflation (December on December) will be 9.2% in 2010 and 8.9% in 2011.
In April, the International Monetary Fund forecasted a 10% inflation rate for Ukraine in 2010.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the National Bank of Ukraine estimates that Ukraine’s GDP grew by 5% in the first quarter.
According to the State Statistics Committee, the inflation rate in Ukraine was 4.7% in the first quarter.
