After the debut of the Honor 100 series in China, the brand is going to introduce a new mid-range offering – Honor X50 GT. According to rumors, the smartphone has entered the final stage of testing, so its launch may be soon. The smartphone has recently appeared on the Bluetooth SIG website, which suggests that its official release may not be far off.
The Bluetooth SIG has given the green light to both the upcoming Honor X50 Pro and Honor X50 GT. Notably, they share the same model number ALP-AN00, which hints at identical devices with different branding. The device’s specifications and features have already leaked through a previous JD.
Honor X50 GT specifications:
Honor X50 GT will feature a large 6.81-inch display. However, the listing does not specify whether the device will use an LCD or OLED panel, but it is confirmed that the screen will provide a Full HD+ resolution of 2388 x 1080 pixels.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the old Snapdragon 888 chipset, which is paired with 8GB of RAM and a generous 256GB of storage. The device is powered by a 4,800 mAh battery, although details regarding its fast charging capabilities remain undisclosed. The Honor X50 GT is reportedly equipped with a 16-megapixel front-facing camera and an impressive 50-megapixel main camera on the back.
Recently, the Honor X50i Plus was introduced in China with a 6.7-inch OLED display with FHD+ 1080 x 2400 pixels. The screen has a refresh rate of 90 Hz, PWM brightness control of 3240 Hz and an impressive brightness of up to 2000 nits, which ensures vivid viewing. At the front, the device features an 8-megapixel front camera, while the unique rear camera island houses a 108-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor and an LED flash.
The X50i Plus is powered by a Dimensity 6080 chipset paired with 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and an additional 8GB of virtual memory. The storage capacity is expandable up to 512 GB, and the device runs Android 13 based on the Magic OS operating system. The device is backed by a reliable 4500 mAh battery that supports 35W charging for fast and efficient recharging.
