Honor Pad 9 global launch is coming, tablet certified in Singapore

The global release of the Honor Pad 9 seems to be not far off. The tablet was first introduced to the Chinese market back in December 2023, and now, given the certification, we can assume that a foreign launch is not far off. So, here are all the details.

Honor Pad 9 visited the Singapore IMDA exhibition

The Chinese smartphone maker’s newest tablet model has been spotted on IMDA certification. It was certified in Singapore under the model number HEY2-W09. The platform classifies Honor Pad 9 as a low-power tablet device with Wi-Fi support. Back in November 2023, the upcoming tablet also appeared in the UAE TDRA database with the same model number.

Unfortunately, the certification platform did not reveal any more details about the Honor Pad 9. But based on the Chinese release, we can expect similar (if not identical) specifications in the global model. The Honor Pad 9 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, which is paired with up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. The tablet is powered by a large 8,300 mAh battery that supports 35W fast charging. It runs on Android 13 with custom MagicOS 7.3 out of the box.

The front features a 12.1-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600, a peak brightness of 550 nits and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The round camera module contains a 13-megapixel rear primary sensor, while an 8-megapixel camera is located in front for selfies. The Honor Pad 9 is available in three color variants, namely: azure, white and gray. So stay tuned as we will be providing updates as more details on this device become available.
