Honor Pad 10 tries to make learning easier for students

Honor is set to launch the Honor Pad 10, a tablet aimed at students with AI-powered learning tools. The new product, which has been teased alongside the Honor 400 series, is expected to feature an eye-pleasing glare-reducing display, with a potential May 2025 debut in China and a possible global launch.

Honor is fueling the excitement with teasers for the Honor Pad 10, its newest tablet that will replace the Honor Pad 9 in December 2023. Positioned as an educational tool for students, the Pad 10 integrates AI features to enhance learning, such as personalized tutorials or improved note-taking. While the exact AI capabilities remain under wraps, they are expected to utilize MagicOS 9.0, which we saw in the Honor Pad V9, for seamless multitasking and AI-driven productivity.

Another notable feature is the dual front-facing camera, a first for Honor tablets, according to unofficial sources cited by NotebookCheck. It is speculated that they may provide 3D content capture or at least advanced facial recognition for enhanced security.

It is also expected that the display will be paper-like, which is designed to reduce glare and eye strain – useful for long study hours.

Building on the Honor Pad 9’s specs – a 12.1-inch 2.5K 120Hz display, Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, up to eight speakers, stylus support, and an optional keyboard case – the Pad 10 is likely to offer similar or improved features. A launch alongside the Honor 400 series in late May 2025 in China, as well as a global rollout given the Pad 9’s expansion in 2024, is likely. Will the artificial intelligence and dual cameras of the Pad 10, which costs around 250 euros, like its predecessor, make it a convenient tool for students, or will it be too niche? Only time will tell.
