EdTech company Headway has been included in the list of European startups that are the most promising in the field of digital education – The Europe EdTech 200 by the international analytical company HolonIQ. The list also includes 4 other Ukrainian companies.
The Europe EdTech 200 is an annual list of two hundred of Europe’s youngest, fastest-growing and most innovative companies in the digital education sector. Its goal is to draw investors’ attention to startups and showcase promising European companies to EdTech market participants.
The list is based on data from the Impact Intelligence Platform, as well as qualitative assessments from the HolonIQ Intelligence Unit and market experts in five areas:
- Market – the quality and relative attractiveness of a particular market category in which the company competes.
- Product – quality, uniqueness and its impact.
- Team – experience and diversity of leaders.
- Capital is the financial position of a company and its ability to provide sufficient funding.
- Dynamics – positive changes in the size, speed, and influence of a company over time.

The list contains 10 categories: Content, Management systems, Advanced Technology, Tutoring and Test prep, and others. Headway was included in the list of companies for “Online Learning”.

In addition to Headway, HolonIQ included other promising EdTech companies from Ukraine in the list. Among them: Classime – a platform for interactive distance learning, Buki – a resource for finding tutors in 7 countries, Gios – interactive math courses and All right – a platform for children to learn English.
