Samsung’s long-awaited Galaxy S24 series, which includes Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra, will be launched on January 17, 2024, according to an exclusive report by The Elec.
On the other hand, the South Korean manufacturer is filing trademark applications for devices that are still almost two years away, such as the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy S25, in addition to those that will be released in a few months.
Over the past few months, the company has also filed trademark applications for additional product categories, such as augmented reality glasses and smart rings.
Following a report by SamMobile about Samsung’s intentions to focus on artificial intelligence in its upcoming flagship, the company confirmed the news by introducing Galaxy AI, which will be released alongside the Galaxy S24 series and will include a variety of AI capabilities.
The Dutch website Galaxy Club found a number of other statements in several countries, one of which suggests that the Galaxy S24 will be released as an AI phone. The brand has registered trademarks under names such as AI Phone and AI Smartphone to demonstrate how seriously it takes everything related to artificial intelligence.
With a focus on augmented reality glasses, the company is also looking to acquire trademarks for TVs, smartphone screens, and other products with names and logos such as Magic Pixel, Flex Magic, and Flex Magic Pixel.
Again, this is a great sign that artificial intelligence (AI) will be the most talked about keyword after the launch of the Galaxy S24 series. However, these names are somewhat restrictive, and therefore Samsung may not get these trademarks.
