Freenet Introduces Three Unlimited Tariffs for Broadband Internet

    Freenet-VesnjankaThe Freenet telecommunication company (Kyiv) introduced three unlimited tariff plans called Spring Mood with monthly subscription fees of UAH 78-120, un.ua says.

    The “Spring Mood 1.5 Mbits/s” tariff plan offers subscribers internet access at speeds of up to 1.5 Mbits/s at the subscription fee of UAH 78 per month.

    The “Spring Mood 6 Mbits/s” tariff plan offers subscribers internet access at speeds of up to 6 Mbits/s at the subscription fee of UAH 99 per month.

    The “Spring Mood 10 Mbits/s” tariff plan offers subscribers internet access at speeds of up to 10 Mbits/s at the subscription fee of UAH 120, which is UAH 75 or 385 lower than the similar tariff plan that was introduced previously.

    The charge for switching to the new tariff plans is UAH 60 for existing subscribers if the subscription fee for the current tariff plan is higher than or equal to the subscription fee for the new tariff plan.

    Freenet has launched commercial operation of its networks in Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Sevastopol, Simferopol, Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Ivano-Frankivsk.

    Freenet, which is a limited liability company, was founded in February 2008 through the merger of two Kyiv-based telecommunications companies (Freenet and iHome).

    Freenet provides only broadband internet access services.

    The company’s owners are members of its current management team and the co-founders of Brokbiznesbank, one of the largest banks in Ukraine.
