The Association of Domestic Appliance Enterprises is forecasting that the fluctuation of the euro currency’s exchange rate will not affect prices of domestic appliances and electronic equipment.
«Increases in prices of equipment can hardly be expected in the near future because retailers of domestic appliances and electronic equipment presently conduct settlements with suppliers in hryvnia,» the press service quoted the association’s General Director Oleh Ivanov as saying.
In addition, Ivanov is forecasting that prices of domestic appliances and electronic equipment will fall in the near future, when the pre-New Year season begins.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, experts have said that the fluctuation of the euro’s exchange rate has had insignificant effect on the rate of inflation in Ukraine.
