Diia has modernized two construction services on the portal

The development team has modernized two construction services on the Diia portal. Make changes to registered notifications and applications without going to the ASC.

Now you can not only notify the start of construction work on objects of consequence class CC1, but also make changes to the submitted notification in a few clicks on the Diia portal. You can also change or cancel urban planning conditions and restrictions.

How it used to be

To make changes to registered applications and notifications, you had to go to the ASC and wait several days for a decision.

How it is now

Now everything can be done online. When submitting applications, almost all data is pulled up automatically and there is no need to enter information manually. No more traveling, waiting, or making mistakes.

Modernized services on the Diia portal:

  • Notification of the start of construction works CC1 or amendments to the registered notification;
  • Application for urban planning conditions and restrictions on land development.

Anti-corruption effect

In total, Ukrainians have already filed 12.3 thousand notifications of the start of construction work through Diia, and more than 4 thousand applications for urban planning conditions and restrictions.

Digitalization of construction has a powerful anti-corruption effect. The state has already saved UAH 11.2 billion in 3 years by eliminating the human factor. The real anti-corruption effect is UAH 1.5 billion per year.

“We respond to challenges with services. We are improving the services that Ukrainians need when many buildings have been damaged by Russian aggression and need to be restored,” the developers note.

Amendments to the CC1 construction work commencement notice are relevant for the construction of small and medium-sized businesses, public buildings, farms, greenhouses and greenhouses. It also applies to the construction of houses for IDPs and people who lost their homes due to the war.

The modernization of services was carried out in cooperation between the Ministry of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure and the Ministry of Digital Transformation with the support of the USAID/UK aid Transparency and Accountability in Public Administration and Services (TAPAS) project.
