The state, manufacturers of military equipment, volunteers and the defense forces must work together in a systematic manner to ensure that the frontline is provided with effective technological solutions in a timely manner.
Companies of strike unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) show excellent results in eliminating enemy positions and equipment. Relatively inexpensive attack drones cause millions of dollars in damage to the enemy. Yuriy Fedorenko, the commander of the Achilles strike UAV company of the 92nd Ivan Sirko Brigade, tells about it.
Fedorenko with the Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov discussed strategic directions for the development of strike unmanned aerial systems, the necessary names for equipping units, the specifics of the use of equipment and production scaling.
Fedorenko personally thanked the company of the AHILLES strike UAVs of the 92nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Ataman Ivan Sirko for supporting the Army of Drones project and the evolution of the direction in general. He notes:
“The Armed Forces of Ukraine are changing in the context of active hostilities. We are accumulating experience that no other army in the world has, including in the use of the unmanned component, as Ukraine was the first country in the world to create companies of strike UAVs.”
The Army of Drones continues to work hard to scale up. UAVs play an important role in both assault and defense operations, as the destruction of the aggressor’s forces and means means saved lives of Ukrainians.
