The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has endorsed the financial plan of the Ukrtelecom telecommunication company for 2010 with a profit of UAH 109 million, Transport and Communication Minister Kostiantyn Yefymenko told the press.
The financial plan envisions revenues of UAH 8 billion in 2010.
According to the minister, the Cabinet of Ministers endorsed the financial plan on August 4.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Ukrtelecom, the largest telecommunications company in Ukraine, ended the period of April-June with a net profit of UAH 84.083 million.
Ukrtelecom ended January-March with a loss of UAH 36.11 million, having cut net revenues by UAH 3.432 million or 0.2% to UAH 1,675.437 million, compared with the corresponding period of 2009.
The company ended 2009 at a loss of UAH 456.426 million. Its net revenues during this period increased by UAH 225.202 million or 3.39% to UAH 6,870.931 million, compared with 2008.
Ukrtelecom has a 78.5% share of the fixed-line telephone market in Ukraine and provides services to 9.9 million subscribers.
