At CES 2025, Bosch is showcasing a crib with artificial intelligence and sensors that can detect just about anything a parent worried about their baby could hope to track. It’s not yet clear when the device, called Revol, will be available for sale, but it is capable of tracking an impressive amount of data.
At first glance, Revol looks somewhat similar to other smart cradles, such as the popular Snoo. It has mesh walls and can soothe a sleeping baby with automated movements. But unlike the Snoo, which swings horizontally, the Revol moves vertically, and the mattress slowly rises and falls like a tiny elevator.
But the crib’s greatest strength lies in its built-in baby monitor, which provides a live video feed for those caring for the baby. Inside the bracket, which extends over the crib, is a variety of sensors that can monitor both the environment around the crib and what’s happening inside.

It uses a millimeter-wave radar sensor that Bosch says can accurately measure the baby’s heart rate and breathing. This data is then sent to an app on the caregiver’s phone, where they can view real-time statistics and health reports. There are also sensors to monitor the environment surrounding the child, including temperature and humidity sensors, as well as a particle meter to measure air quality.
Finally, since it’s 2025 and every product must have an AI component, Revol also has AI-enabled features. It uses computer vision to detect if an object, such as a blanket or soft toy, is near the baby’s face and can alert parents to the danger (the American Academy of Pediatrics advises against keeping any soft objects in the sleeping area of babies).
This all sounds like a pretty impressive list of features for a cradle, but parents shouldn’t hold their breath for when the Revol goes on sale. A Bosch spokesperson told me that the company plans to launch the bassinet in the Chinese market first, and plans to launch it in the U.S. sometime in 2026, citing the need to comply with U.S. laws and regulations.
There is also no price for the device yet, although Bosch told me that they hope it will cost around $1200. This may seem like a high price, but the company plans to offer additional accessories that can turn the crib into a changing table and desk so that parents and children can use it to greater advantage.
