The Beeline mobile communication operator (“Ukrainian Radio Systems” and “Golden Telecom”) introduced unlimited tariff plans “5 megabit,” “10 megabit” and “100 megabit” for the subscribers of the “Beeline Internet House” service, the company said.
The “5 megabit” tariff plan provides subscribers with the Internet access speed of up to 5 mbps for first 50 GB of traffic a month, then the speed is reduced to 0.512 mbps; the subscriber fee is UAH 29 a month.
The “10 megabit” tariff plan provides subscribers with the Internet access speed of up to 10 mbps for first 100 GB of traffic a month, then the speed is reduced; the subscriber fee is UAH 59 a month.
The “100 megabit” tariff plan provides subscribers with the Internet access speed of up to 100 mbps for first 200 GB of traffic a month, then the speed is reduced; the subscriber fee is UAH 59 a month is a subscriber connects to the tariff plan by the end of summer until January 1 (later the subscriber fee will grow to UAH 79 per month).
Operator’s subscribers can now use these tariff plans in Kyiv, Brovary, Vyshneve (both in Kyiv region), Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhia, Kremenchuk (Poltava region), Kryvyi Rih (Dnipropetrovsk region), Lutsk, Lviv, Nizhyn (Chernihiv region), Odesa, Sevastopol, Kharkiv, Chernivtsi.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the number of subscribers to the broadband Internet services of the Beeline mobile communications operator (the Ukrainian Radiosystems and Golden Telecom companies) rose by 18.4% or 22,500, to 145,000 in the period of January-March, comparing to October-December period. In the fourth quarter the number of subscribers to the broadband Internet services of the Beeline mobile communications operator rose by 46.7% and made up 122,500.
Beeline finished 2009 with a net profit of UAH 1.6 billion.
Russia’s VimpelCom owns 100% of Ukrainian Radio Systems.
