Apple will allow you to transfer purchases to another account

Surprise news: Apple has actually done something that can save you money. The company now allows users to transfer purchases from one Apple account to another. You can transfer things like movies, books, music programs, and more.

The only caveat: You can only transfer purchases from your secondary account, which you use for media and purchases, to your primary account, which is the one you use to sign in to iCloud and most other features.

Before you start transferring, make sure you’re signed in to both accounts on your device and that your secondary account isn’t part of Family Sharing or Shoppe. Next, make sure that two-factor authentication is enabled for both accounts and that they are bound to the same country and region. You’ll also need to use up your entire balance and not have any rentals or pre-orders.

Then, transfer your items by going to the Media & Shopping tab and selecting Migrate purchases. Follow the on-screen instructions, and once the migration is complete, sign out of your secondary account on all devices. Please note that you will no longer be able to use the other account for purchases.

Users from the United States can now transfer their purchases. However, the new feature is not yet available globally, as users from the European Union, the United Kingdom, and India cannot access it.
