Apple Vision Pro could hit the market in February 2024

Apple Vision Pro was first announced earlier this year, but there was no official word on its availability. Now, a new report hints at the timing of the company’s mixed reality headset launch.

Apple Vision Pro may appear in February 2024

During the official announcement at WWDC23, Apple only announced the price of the headset, but not its availability. However, the well-known analyst Mark Gurman revealed the launch timeframe of the device in his latest Power On newsletter. Earlier, Gurman claimed that the release of the mixed reality headset was delayed until March 2024. But in the latest report, he stated that the release could take place a month earlier.

A well-known analyst claims that Vision Pro may appear in February, as the company has begun to ramp up production abroad. Apple has reportedly launched production of the headset at full capacity at its factories in China. These production sites are working towards the goal of making Vision Pro ready to ship by the end of January 2024. As for the software, Gurman adds that the company has sent an email to non-developers urging them to “prepare” for Vision Pro by testing their apps with the latest tools.

In addition, next month Apple seems to be sending two employees from each retail store to its headquarters for training. Here, employees will learn the features and highlights of Apple Vision Pro to be able to better promote the product for sale. Keep in mind that this is still only unconfirmed information, so take it with a grain of salt and stay tuned.
