On January 16, Asus will launch the ROG Phone 8 series of gaming phones in China. On the eve of the launch, the brand released the official benchmarking results of ROG Phone 8 Pro. Here are the details shared by the brand.

ROG Phone 8 Pro test results in benchmarks

According to the brand, ROG Phone 8 Pro scored 2,359,969 points in the AnTuTu benchmarks. In Geekbench, the device scored 7,422 points in the multi-core test.

For those who don’t know, the ROG Phone 8 series is expected to ship with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip on board. According to a recent report, the Pro model will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with perforations, FHD+ resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, up to 2,500 nits brightness, in-screen fingerprint scanner, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection.

Under the hood, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 device will have a 5500 mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. It will have 16GB/24GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB/1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. There will be a 32-megapixel selfie camera on the front and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 32-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom on the back.

The ROG Phone 8 Pro will have other features such as Android 14, an IP68-rated body, a 5-magnet speaker, and a 3.5mm audio jack. In addition, the back of the device will feature a backlit RBG logo.
