The Cabinet of Ministers granted UAH 31.58 million to the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Committee for acquiring rights to broadcast matches of the European Football Championship (Euro) 2012, reads Government Resolution No. 1401 of December 8.
The TV and Radio Committee was named the chief administrator of the budget funds.
Cabinet plans to disburse the money from receipts to the stabilisation fund from the target placement of state securities, and in case these are not enough for expense of money received from privatisation of state property.
The TV and Radio Committee has to report the ministry of finance on the use of budget means before January 20, 2010.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the Cabinet of Ministers plans to spend about UAH 6 billion in 2010 on the preparations for the EURO 2012.
