The National Communications Regulation Commission (NCRC) has licensed the Ukrainian Newest Telecommunications company (the UNTC brand) to use the 3500-3600 and 3700-3800 megahertz frequency bands for radio-relay communications in all regions of Ukraine.

The license was approved via the commission’s decision No. 1801 dated December 24.

The width of the bands in a region is 200 megahertz; the total width of the band in all regions is 5400 megahertz.
The license is valid until January 1, 2015.

The UNTC presently holds a license to use the 5760-5820 frequency band for radio-relay communications in all regions of Ukraine.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, UNTC specializes in creation of trunk channels for transfer of data, provision of high-speed Internet access via dedicated channels, creation of corporate data-transfer networks, provision of fixed-line and IP telephony services in Kyiv and the Kyiv region, and creation of telecommunications infrastructure.
