A large-scale event in support of the Ukrainian IT industry “Ukraine Tech Day: Recovery, Reconstruction, and Opportunities” has been held in London.
During the event, participants from Ukraine and the UK discussed the significant successes of the Ukrainian IT industry, the prospects and benefits for UK companies from cooperation with the Ukrainian tech industry, as well as individual segments in which Ukrainian tech companies and startups hold leading positions in the world: DefenseTech, CyberSecurity, EdTech, FinTech, and others.
The event is aimed at raising awareness of Ukraine as a reliable partner for cooperation and implementation of successful projects in the field of IT and the latest technologies.

By choosing to cooperate in R&D projects with Ukrainian companies, you choose a reliable partner with in-depth expertise and a focus on results,” said Maria Shevchuk, Acting Executive Director of ITU.
According to her, the UK has been one of the largest exporters of Ukrainian IT services for many years. However, we need to expand and strengthen our bilateral partnership.
The event was organized by techUK, a leading UK technology association, in partnership with IT Ukraine Association and Deloitte.
The UK is one of the largest exporters of IT services from Ukraine. According to the NBU, in September 2023, export revenue of IT services from the UK amounted to $42 million. Ukrainian IT companies, despite the challenges of war, remain competitive and are becoming increasingly visible in the global technology market.
