Hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians have deposits in banks that have gone bankrupt. The Ministry of Digital Transformation is launching a reimbursement service with the Deposit Guarantee Fund so that everyone can get their money back without paperwork and trips to financial institutions.
How it works
- Go to Diia.
- Select the bank where you had an account (if you had deposits in different banks, submit separate applications).
- Select the ePay card to which the funds will be transferred.
- Specify your contact details.
- Sign the application with your signature.
After that, you will receive a refund to your ePidtrymka card within three business days.
The ePidtrymka card must be opened in one of the 5 agent banks of the Fund: Universal Bank/monobank, PrivatBank, Ukrgasbank, FUIB and Idea Bank. If you do not have the required card, open it in a few clicks in the application.
Which banks
If you have kept funds in several banks, submit several applications at once. 1 application = 1 bank.
The service is currently available to depositors of 34 failed banks. In total, we have 1.4 million accounts worth UAH 3.2 billion that need to be reimbursed.
“We continue to build the most convenient digital state in the world so that every Ukrainian can receive services conveniently and easily. Without bureaucracy and corruption,” said Deputy Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov.
