The next year MTS Ukraine could probably reach the mass market of fixed telephony and Internet. The company already provides such services to corporate clients and is developing a strategy for working with private subscribers. Experts believe that competition with Kyivstar and Beeline, which would come into the market before MTS, may forcу the operator to buy the existing Internet service providers.
As it was reported by the mass media, MTS-Ukraine could begin providing fixed-line services and Internet access for private subscribers in 2010. This information was confirmed by MTS-Ukraine, and it was added that the terms and strategy of this development project had not yet determined.
