Ukrainians who have lost their homes due to Russian aggression will be able to receive compensation through the Diia app. The service is now available for owners of completely destroyed property.
How to apply
Submit an application if the house:
- has one owner,
- is not located in the area of active hostilities,
- is located on the territory controlled by Ukraine,
- is registered in the SRRP.
You can register your property with the SRRP now – online on the Diia portal or offline at the ASC.
If you build on new land
If you want to rebuild a house on your own land, you should wait with your application. The Ministry of Digital Transformation is working on implementing a service for the restoration of a building on its territory.
After submitting the application, the city council commission will determine the amount of compensation. This procedure can only take place offline. Then you will receive a housing certificate in Diia or by e-mail.
After that, you will be able to buy a new apartment, house or any other residential property.
The service was developed by the Ministry of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development jointly with the Ministry of Digital Transformation with the support of the USAID/UK aid Transparency and Accountability in Public Administration and Services (TAPAS) project and the World Bank.
