The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine presented Diia software in Washington, D.C., at the first-ever Diia in DC summit.
Deputy Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov shared the achievements of digital Ukraine at the summit:
“Today, Diia is an ecosystem of services covering all areas of Ukrainian life: from documents for a newborn to developing your own business.”
Today, Diia has 19 million users, 14 documents and 30 services in a few clicks on a smartphone. Documents in a smartphone, paying taxes in 2 clicks, applying for a marriage online – all this is already a reality for millions of Ukrainians.
Now Diia is moving to other continents. The team of the Ministry of Digital Transformation is negotiating the export of Diia with 10 countries, several of which are supported by USAID. Partnerships with Zambia and Colombia are already being considered. This was announced by USAID Administrator Samantha Power during the event.
“I believe that the US summit has become another powerful impetus for strengthening Ukraine’s image as a digital country,” Fedorov said.
