Avatr has officially announced the rollout of its latest in-car operating system update, AVATR. OS 6.1.0, starting today, October 23rd. This update promises a richer user experience and enhanced safety features for a range of Avatr models, including the Avatr 12, Avatr 07, Avatr 06T, and Avatr 06.
New Intelligent Features Debut
The update introduces a delightful new feature: the ‘Taco’ electronic pet. This interactive digital companion offers a variety of expressions and emotional responses, bringing a new level of personality to the car’s cabin. Compatible with Avatr 12, 07, 06T, and 06, the Taco pet makes its debut in this release.
Further personalizing the in-car environment, users can now generate unique AI artwork. By uploading photos of pets or loved ones to the Avatr App, users can create static and dynamic AI-generated works that can be synchronized to the vehicle as wallpaper. This feature is also available for the Avatr 12, 07, 06T, and 06 models.
The vehicle’s Star Ring Screen receives a makeover with the introduction of the ‘Pet Immersive Big Card’, transforming it into an interactive pet house. Additionally, a new ‘Clock Card’ for the Star Ring Screen offers both minimalist and futuristic design options. The update also brings a dedicated ‘Game Space’, providing a quick access portal to game lists, history, and rapid game launching.
Safety Upgrades Bolstered
Avatr is also focusing on safety with significant upgrades. The Cloud View function now supports manual triggering of ‘flash and honk’ and ‘external voice broadcast’ for the Sentinel system. This allows for audible and visual responses to minor issues with parked vehicles, benefiting Avatr 12, 07L, 07 Laser Edition, 06T, and 06 Laser Edition models.
A notable new safety feature is the ‘Gast-shape Obstacle Automatic Emergency Braking (GAEB)’. This system is designed to detect and automatically brake for irregularly shaped obstacles, enhancing safety for models like the Avatr 12, 07L 896-line LiDAR version, and 06T 896-line LiDAR version.
Convenience and Connectivity Enhanced
The AVATR. OS 6.1.0 update significantly boosts convenience for drivers. The ‘Agile Knob’ ecological accessory now supports controlling music, media, air conditioning, and seats when paired with the accessory, which can be purchased separately from the Avatr App Store. This feature is available for Avatr 12, 07L, 06T, and 06 models.
For colder climates, the ‘One-click preparation’ function now includes a battery heating option. Drivers can remotely preheat the battery to improve charging efficiency during winter, a feature available on Avatr 12, 11 (Extended Range), 07L, 07, 06T, and 06.
A highly anticipated feature, ‘Off-vehicle Power Off’, is now supported. This allows the vehicle to maintain power for a short period after the driver exits, enabling continuous use of air conditioning and entertainment systems. This is available for Avatr 12, 07, 06T, and 06 models.
Navigation sees improvements with the addition of dual map switching, supporting both Baidu Maps and lane-level navigation. This feature is available for Avatr 07 (Main Visual Edition) and 06 (Main Visual Edition) models.
Navigating is further streamlined with the ‘En route, Nearby, Destination’ categorized search for navigation points. Users can now easily search for charging stations, gas stations, and service areas categorized by their proximity to the route or destination. This enhanced search functionality applies to Avatr 12, 11, 07L, 07 Laser Edition, 06T, and 06 Laser Edition models.
For group travel, the new ‘Team Travel’ feature enables real-time location and route sharing, synchronized navigation, and group voice chat. This makes coordinating journeys with friends and family more seamless. This feature is supported across Avatr 12, 11, 07L, 07 Laser Edition, 06T, and 06 Laser Edition vehicles.
Finally, the update includes ‘Smart Charging Navigation and Recharging Assistance’. This feature helps users find available parking spots at charging stations within a complex and provides direct navigation to them, improving the charging experience for Avatr 12, 11, 07L, 07 Laser Edition, 06T, and 06 Laser Edition models.
