Honor has officially launched its latest budget-friendly tablet, the Honor Pad X10 Mini, with pre-orders starting today. This new device boasts a 9.7-inch display and a substantial 8000mAh battery, making it an attractive option for users seeking a blend of portability and endurance.
Pricing and Availability
The Honor Pad X10 Mini is available in two configurations. The 4GB+128GB model is priced at 1099 yuan, with a post-subsidy price of 934.15 yuan. For those needing more memory, the 6GB+128GB variant is available for 1399 yuan, coming down to 1189.15 yuan after subsidies.
Display and Design
The tablet features a 9.7-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2052×1152 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. It offers a peak brightness of 500 nits and covers 100% sRGB color gamut, ensuring a vibrant viewing experience. The screen is protected by a doubly reinforced glass, designed for enhanced resistance against drops and scratches.
Constructed with an integrated metal body, the Honor Pad X10 Mini weighs 477g and measures 8.48mm in thickness. The device has undergone rigorous testing, achieving SGS five-star gold standard certification for its drop and pressure resistance, as well as MIL-STD 810H military standard certification. This suggests a robust build quality designed to withstand daily wear and tear.
Battery Life and Performance
A standout feature of the Honor Pad X10 Mini is its 8000mAh battery. Honor claims this capacity provides up to 82 days of standby time, 122 hours of music playback, and 16 hours of continuous video viewing. While specific processor details are not yet widely available and listed as a Qualcomm processor on e-commerce platforms, the focus on battery endurance suggests optimized power management for extended usage.
Educational Features
The tablet is also positioned as an educational tool for younger users, offering a wealth of early learning resources. It integrates popular IP like “The Octonauts,” providing over 2000 children’s songs and more than 17,000 animated videos. This curated content aims to create an immersive “visual, auditory, and interactive” learning ecosystem for preschoolers.
Other Specifications
While the processor information is somewhat vague, and the device has not yet been officially listed on Honor’s official website, other specifications are expected to align with standard offerings for this segment. The emphasis on display quality, battery life, and durability, combined with an affordable price point, makes the Honor Pad X10 Mini a compelling option in the entry-level tablet market.
The availability of government subsidies further reduces the cost, making it an even more accessible device for a wider audience. Users interested in purchasing the Honor Pad X10 Mini can look for it on major e-commerce platforms like JD.com.
