Xiaomi’s Redmi brand has launched a new monitor arm, now available for purchase at an introductory price of 299 yuan. This new accessory aims to enhance desk organization and monitor usability with its versatile adjustments and integrated cable management.
Robust Design and Smooth Adjustments
The Redmi monitor arm is constructed from a 3mm thick aluminum alloy, emphasizing durability and a premium feel. It incorporates a dual-spring patented structure designed for balanced force distribution during height adjustments. This mechanism has undergone rigorous testing, exceeding 30,000 fatigue cycles, ensuring both a smooth user experience and long-term reliability.
Designed to accommodate a wide range of monitors, the arm supports weights from 1.9kg to 9kg and is compatible with displays up to 34 inches in size. This broad compatibility makes it suitable for most modern monitors used in home and office environments.
Versatile Articulation and Easy Setup
The Redmi monitor arm offers extensive adjustability, allowing users to position their displays freely in five directions: up/down, tilt, swivel, and left/right/forward/backward movement. It provides a significant reach, with a front-to-back extension range of 43.5cm and a vertical lift range of 30cm. This flexibility allows users to find the optimal viewing angle and ergonomic position for their setup.
Mounting is designed for ease, supporting standard VESA mounting hole patterns of 75x75mm and 100x100mm. The inclusion of hand-tightenable screws means that users can typically install the monitor arm without the need for additional tools, enabling a single-person setup.
Integrated Cable Management
A key feature highlighted is the integrated hidden cable management system. This design helps to keep desk surfaces tidy by concealing monitor cables within the arm itself. Effective cable management not only improves aesthetics but also prevents clutter and potential damage to cords.
Service and Availability
Xiaomi is backing the Redmi monitor arm with a 5-year replacement and repair service, underscoring the company’s confidence in the product’s durability. The monitor arm is available starting today.
