As the National Day holiday travel period continues, the Ministry of Transport has identified 30 service areas across China expected to experience particularly busy charging conditions on October 4th. Travelers heading through provinces like Hebei, Henan, and Liaoning are advised to be prepared for potential queues.
High Demand for EV Charging During Golden Week
The Ministry of Transport’s dynamic monitoring indicates that a significant number of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations will be under heavy demand on October 4th. The majority of these high-traffic service areas are concentrated in Hebei, Henan, and Liaoning provinces. To help drivers navigate these busy periods, the ministry recommends using the ‘e 畅通’ WeChat mini-program. This tool provides real-time operational status of charging facilities at various service areas, allowing travelers to plan their routes and charging stops more effectively.
