IM Motors has announced a significant surge in orders just before China’s National Day holiday. In the three days leading up to the holiday, the company secured over 2,000 orders across its entire model range. This strong performance follows a period of substantial growth for the brand.

Strong Sales Momentum

According to the latest sales data from SAIC Group, IM Motors achieved a cumulative sales figure of 60,000 vehicles in the first nine months of the year. This represents an impressive year-on-year increase of 40.1%. The company has been gaining traction, with its latest model, the IM LS6, proving particularly popular.

IM LS6: A Game Changer?

The newly launched IM LS6 has seen exceptional demand since its release. In just 57 minutes after its official debut, the all-new generation IM LS6 garnered over 11,000 new orders. This new generation model was launched on September 23rd, positioning itself as a “full-control large five-seater family SUV.” Its competitive pricing starts at an official guided price of 202,900 yuan, and with introductory offers, it is available from 197,900 yuan.

Key Variants and Specifications of the IM LS6:

  • Max version: Priced at 197,900 yuan, it features a 76kWh battery, CLTC range of 650km with super rear-wheel drive, and a 0-100 km/h acceleration of 6.4 seconds.
  • Pro Max version: Available for 217,900 yuan, it comes with a 93kWh battery, CLTC range of 782km with super rear-wheel drive, and achieves 0-100 km/h in 5.4 seconds.
  • Ultra version: Priced at 259,900 yuan, it boasts a 103kWh battery, CLTC range of 750km with vector four-wheel drive, and an astonishing 0-100 km/h acceleration of 3.48 seconds.

Advanced Technology Under the Hood

The new generation IM LS6 measures 4937mm in length, 1988mm in width, and 1671mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2960mm. Across all its variants, the LS6 is equipped with the new generation ‘three electric systems,’ signifying advancements in its power and energy management. This includes the ‘all-domain 800V NEO’ three electric architecture, a new ‘NEO Hurricane’ motor, and the updated ‘IM ECU Master’ energy efficiency management system 3.0.
