RedMagic has officially started teasing its upcoming flagship gaming smartphone, the RedMagic 12 Pro+. In a series of pre-heat images released by the company, the new device is showcased with a focus on its improved ergonomics, promising the “best RedMagic flagship grip to date.” The company highlights that the 12 Pro+ will be “thinner, lighter, narrower, and more rounded” compared to its predecessor.

Key design improvements are visible in the provided images. The new model boasts a reduced thickness and lighter weight, contributing to a more comfortable user experience during extended gaming sessions. The display bezels have also been optimized, with the side black borders on the 12 Pro+ shrinking from 1.25mm to just 0.96mm. This reduction in bezels offers a more immersive visual experience for gamers.

According to earlier reports, the RedMagic 12 Pro+ is slated for a launch in October. Jiang Chao, the General Manager of RedMagic Gaming Phone, emphasized that the 12 Pro+ remains a device built “truly for gamers.” He stated, “The performance can withstand high loads, the cooling can handle long battles, the grip is further improved with lightness and thinness, the design has a unique recognition, the front is a notch-less under-display full screen for a complete and pure experience, and the daily system experience is truly effortless.”

This focus on refined design and enhanced ergonomics, coupled with the promise of continued top-tier gaming performance and cooling, suggests RedMagic is aiming to deliver a more polished and user-friendly gaming smartphone. The commitment to a true full-screen experience without any front-facing notches or punch-holes further underscores the device’s dedication to immersive gaming. Gamers can anticipate further details as the October launch approaches.
