Sony is expanding its collaboration with Sanrio, bringing a special edition of the Xperia 10 VIII smartphone to Taiwan. This isn’t the first time these two brands have teamed up this month, as Sony recently announced a range of Hello Kitty-themed headphones, including the WH-1000XM6, WH-CH730N, and WH-CH530 models. Now, the partnership extends to Sony’s smartphone line.
Xperia 10 VIII x Hello Kitty Limited Edition Set Unveiled
The new “Xperia 10 VIII x Hello Kitty Limited Special Edition” package, announced on a Thursday, includes the Xperia 10 VIII smartphone itself. Interestingly, the phone itself does not feature any Hello Kitty branding, engravings, or prints. Instead, the collectible aspect comes with the accompanying accessories and digital content.
The bundle is designed for fans of the iconic character and includes:
- The Xperia 10 VIII smartphone
- An exclusive Hello Kitty-designed crossbody bag
- An exclusive Hello Kitty-designed tote bag
- Three original Hello Kitty-designed desktop wallpapers available digitally
This special edition set is priced at 22,390 New Taiwan Dollars, which is approximately 4,713 Chinese Yuan, according to current exchange rates.
