The National State Television and Radio Broadcasting Council has licensed Kyiv-based Zeonbud company for creation of national television network.
The decision was taken unanimously by council members.
The licenses were granted for construction of network on basis of four multiplexes: МХ1, МХ2, МХ3 and МХ5.
In compliance with the license, the resource of the network is 32 channels.
The licenses are assigned for ten years.
Chairman of the National Council Volodymyr Manzhosov noted that the cost of license fee will make up UAH 1.905 million per multiplex.
The 100-percent stake in Zeonbud limited liability company belongs to Cypriot Planbridge Limited.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, in October, the Verkhovna Rada endorsed amendments into article 31, which envision authorities of the Cabinet of Ministers to approve methodology of calculation of license fee for assignation of licenses for broadcasting.
