vivo has unveiled its latest mobile operating system, OriginOS 7, at the 2026 vivo Developer Conference. A standout feature introduced with this new version is “随手清” (Suíshǒu Qīng), a novel approach to photo album management that seamlessly blends organization with memory browsing.
Transforming Album Management
Traditionally, managing a growing photo library can feel like a tedious chore. vivo aims to change this perception with “随手清”, which the company describes as turning the process from “digital housework” into a “revisiting of memories.” This innovative feature allows users to interact with their photo collection in a dynamic and engaging way.
Swipe and Sort: A New Album Experience
Upon launching “随手清”, users are presented with their past photos in a format akin to scrolling through short videos. This intuitive interface makes the typically mundane task of photo cleaning feel more like a casual browsing session. The core functionality is simple yet effective:
- Keep what you love: Users can simply swipe up to keep photos they cherish.
- Delete what you don’t: Unwanted images can be swiftly removed with a swipe.
- Duplicate detection: For those pesky duplicate photos, users can swipe left and right to compare similar shots, retaining only the best one.
vivo has also incorporated intelligent assistance for those difficult decisions. The “随手清” feature will proactively organize photos, presenting users with curated selections that require only simple filtering and confirmation. This thoughtful addition aims to streamline the process further, making it easier than ever to maintain a clean and organized photo library.
