岚图汽车 (Voyah) has announced a change in plans for the highly anticipated 岚图梦想家 9 (Voyah Dreamer 9). The scheduled pre-sale launch event has been canceled, with pre-sales now set to commence directly on September 5th at 10:00 AM. Display vehicles are expected to arrive at dealerships starting September 5th, at which point the full range of trims and pricing will be revealed.

Voyah Dreamer 9: A New Era for Luxury MPVs

The Voyah Dreamer 9 is poised to make waves in the luxury MPV segment, set to become the world’s first MPV to feature a retractable, illuminated emblem. This distinctive “Kunpeng Lingyun” (鲲鹏凌云) emblem is a key design element, adding a unique touch of sophistication and technological flair. Positioned as a flagship MPV in the 500,000 RMB class, the Dreamer 9 boasts impressive dimensions: 5325mm in length, 1998mm in width, and 1823mm in height, with a substantial wheelbase of 3200mm. The vehicle’s design emphasizes a commanding presence, with an equal 1:1 width-to-height ratio and a distinct 60% front nose height, contributing to its stable and executive stance. The body’s waistline is also artfully divided in a 50:50 proportion between the B-pillar and the front.

Design and Technology Highlights

Beyond the signature rising emblem, the Voyah Dreamer 9 incorporates a suite of meticulously crafted design elements. The headlights are named “Ziwei Xingge” (紫微星阁), and the vehicle features “Dragon Scale” (龙鳞纹) exclusive decorative patterns. The贯穿式 (through-type) taillights are called “Zhizhang Xinghe” (执掌星河), further enhancing the vehicle’s visual appeal. These design cues align with Voyah’s family-oriented “Oriental Luxury” design language.

Underpinning the Dreamer 9’s advanced capabilities is its “all-domain L3” autonomous driving architecture. This robust system is equipped with an 896-line dual-light-path, image-grade main lidar and three solid-state blind-spot radars, pointing towards a future of highly automated driving experiences. The retractable illuminated emblem is more than just a visual statement; it supports customizable rising logic and animated welcome light sequences, adding a personalized and high-tech greeting.

Powertrain Options

Voyah has confirmed that the Dreamer 9 will be available in two distinct powertrain configurations: a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) version and a fully electric (BEV) version. This dual offering ensures that the luxury MPV can cater to a wider range of consumer preferences and driving needs.

The decision to bypass a formal pre-sale launch event and proceed directly to sales indicates confidence from Voyah in the Dreamer 9’s market appeal. The upcoming reveal of trims and prices on September 5th will be keenly watched by potential buyers and industry observers alike, as the Voyah Dreamer 9 aims to set a new benchmark for luxury, technology, and design in the MPV segment.
