Design and Performance

The FN80G model boasts a compact footprint, measuring just 180mm x 168mm x 88mm, with a total volume of approximately 2.6 liters. It supports both horizontal and vertical placement, making it versatile for various desk setups. Internally, it features a combination of Intel Core Ultra 200S series processors and NVIDIA RTX 50 series dedicated graphics cards, capable of delivering up to 250W of total power consumption.

Processor options for the FN80G include the Intel Core Ultra 7 270K PLUS, a 24-core, 24-thread processor (8 performance-cores + 16 efficient-cores) with a 100W TDP. It can reach clock speeds up to 5.5GHz and features a substantial 76MB of L2+L3 cache. This processor also includes integrated graphics with support for AV1 encoding/decoding and Game Boost APO.

On the graphics front, users can opt for up to an NVIDIA RTX 5090M with 24GB of VRAM, delivering a full 150W of graphics performance. The RTX 50 series GPUs are highlighted for their strong AI capabilities, which can accelerate tasks like rendering, AI art generation, and video editing. Technologies like DLSS 4.5 are supported for frame rate enhancement, and the NVIDIA Studio suite further empowers creative workflows.

Advanced Cooling System

To manage the heat generated by these high-performance components, FEVM has implemented an independent dual-path cooling system. This setup includes four heat pipes for the CPU and another four for the GPU, ensuring partitioned thermal management and optimal performance release. The overall cooling architecture utilizes axial fans and an 8-heat pipe system. Under full load, noise levels are kept to a maximum of 42db, with CPU temperatures controlled below 85℃ and GPU temperatures below 80℃.

Connectivity and Expandability

In terms of expansion, the mini PCs are equipped with dual SO-DIMM DDR5 memory slots, supporting up to 128GB of RAM. For storage, there are two M.2 2280 NVMe SSD slots capable of supporting up to 2x 4TB drives. An additional M.2 NGFF 2230 slot is available, which can accommodate PCIe protocol Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules.

The front panel features a 40Gbps full-function Thunderbolt 4 port, enabling multi-device daisy-chaining and network bridging with up to 20Gbps bandwidth. Networking is handled by a combination of a 10 Gigabit RJ45 port and a 2.5 Gigabit RJ45 port, supporting multi-machine cluster management and tensor parallel computing. The rear panel includes a Type-C port that outputs discrete GPU signals, compatible with AR glasses and portable displays, and supports up to six 4K displays.

The launch of the FEVM FN80G and FA80G series signifies a growing trend in the market for powerful, compact computing solutions that do not compromise on performance.
