The company reported a consolidated revenue of 435 million Polish Zloty (approximately 782 million RMB) for the period, marking a significant 23% year-over-year increase. Furthermore, their consolidated net profit reached 249 million Polish Zloty (around 448 million RMB), a substantial 37% jump, resulting in a robust net profit margin of 57%.
Franchise Success Fuels Growth
A major driving force behind these strong figures is the continued success of their flagship franchises. The Witcher series has now surpassed a remarkable cumulative sales milestone of over 90 million units worldwide. Looking ahead, CD PROJEKT RED has outlined an ambitious release schedule, with new installments for the beloved fantasy saga planned to roll out annually over the next three years. This includes the anticipated Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition, the expansion Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Old World, and the highly awaited Witcher 4.
Cyberpunk 2077 Continues to Shine
The futuristic world of Cyberpunk 2077 is also performing exceptionally well. The base game has now sold over 40 million copies, demonstrating its enduring appeal. The critically acclaimed expansion, Phantom Liberty, has also achieved significant commercial success, with sales exceeding 15 million units. Adding to the Cyberpunk universe’s reach, the animated series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 is set to premiere on Netflix on October 20th of this year, promising to expand the narrative and engage a wider audience.
