Ukrtelecom, Ukraine’s largest telecommunications company, sold its Series K bonds for UAH 150 million at the Ukrainian Exchange, Ukrainian News has learned from the bourse press service.
Information from the press service, the bonds were sold on October 25 in two bargains: in the first Ukrtelecom raised UAH 101.756 million, and in the second UAH 50.878 million; in all they raised UAH 152.634 million.
Thus, the bonds were sold at a price 101.756% of the nominal value.
The press service has not disclosed details on the buyers of the notes, saying the deals were concluded with delayed execution but accounts for them already settled.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Ukrtelecom started floatation of Series J and K bonds for UAH 275 million on October 19.
In particular, the company issued 125,000 bonds of Series J and 150,000 bonds of Series K in the book-entry form of the nominal value UAH 1,000 each.
The company plans to channel the funds raised through sale of the bonds to improving efficiency of the existing telecommunication system, building and upgrading the network infrastructure, including the third generation mobile communication (3G).
The means will be also used to develop the promising services, such as provision of broadband internet access and international connections with help of IP technologies, introduction of a system of convergent voice communication services, video calls and data transfer.
