HYTE, the PC component brand under iBUYPOWER, has officially launched its much-anticipated Y50 RGB PC case globally. Unveiled on August 25th, this new chassis marks HYTE’s entry into the mainstream PC case market, bringing its signature design language to a wider audience.

The Y50 RGB carries forward HYTE’s distinctive aesthetic, featuring a captivating three-sided glass panel design with a unique front-left corner cut. This visual flair is complemented by a stylish dual-chamber layout, separating components for improved thermal performance and a cleaner build experience. This design philosophy has been a hallmark of previous HYTE cases, and its inclusion in the Y50 RGB signals a commitment to both form and function.
Pre-installed Cooling and Ample Space
Out of the box, the Y50 RGB comes equipped with a robust cooling setup. It includes a pre-installed set of three 120mm RGB fans in a connected unit at the front, along with an additional 120mm RGB fan. Expandability and Compatibility
Measuring 473mm x 288mm x 461mm, the Y50 RGB offers substantial internal volume and extensive support for various hardware configurations. It provides seven expansion slots and is compatible with E-ATX motherboards, the larger standard for high-end desktop systems. For builders looking to install the latest graphics cards, the case supports GPUs up to 360mm in length. Power supplies are also accommodated, with clearance for ATX PSUs up to 225mm. CPU cooler height is limited to 160mm, which is ample for most air coolers.
Further enhancing its versatility, the Y50 RGB supports motherboard back-wiring (sometimes referred to as “plug-in” or “cable management” motherboards) and vertical GPU mounting, allowing for creative and clean builds. Storage options are plentiful, with the capacity to house up to six 2.5″ SSDs. Alternatively, users can opt for a mixed configuration of two 3.5″ HDDs and two 2.5″ SSDs.
