BMW China has announced a significant shift in its sales strategy for the upcoming new generation of the BMW iX3. In a move designed to simplify the purchasing process and ensure consistent pricing across the country, the new iX3 will be the first BMW model in China to adopt a nationwide unified pricing model.

A New Era of Car Buying

The “nationwide unified price” system means that the base price of the vehicle, along with the cost of any optional extras, will be standardized across all dealerships in China. This eliminates the need for customers to shop around at different dealerships to compare prices, promising a more straightforward and less stressful buying experience.

Furthermore, BMW is enhancing transparency and convenience by allowing customers to place their orders online. This digital-first approach is expected to streamline the entire purchase journey, making it easier for consumers to acquire their new iX3.
