The highly anticipated new generation BMW iX3 has officially opened for pre-orders at the 2026 Chengdu Auto Show. Deliveries are set to commence in November.

BMW announced unified national pricing for the new iX3 models:
- New generation BMW iX3 30L: Starting from ¥269,900
- New generation BMW iX3 40L xDrive: Starting from ¥299,900
- New generation BMW iX3 50L xDrive: Starting from ¥339,900
Key Features
The new iX3 comes standard with nearly 40 high-value configurations. These include the distinctive digital Angel Wings illuminated grille, M Sport Package, the sixth-generation BMW eDrive system, and BMW Intelligent Driving Assistance Systems. Drivers will also benefit from the BMW AI Personal Assistant with personalized AI-generated graphics, heated steering wheel, advanced three-zone climate control, heated front and rear seats, ventilated front seats, and a Harman Kardon Hi-Fi audio system.
Platform and Design
Built on the dedicated all-electric Neue Klasse platform, the new iX3 is exclusively elongated for the Chinese market, boasting a wheelbase of 3005mm. Its dimensions are 4885mm in length, 1895mm in width, and 1635mm in height. Notably, it features a semi-hidden door handle design, unique to the Chinese market, which supports both electric and manual opening.
Intelligent Technology
The vehicle is equipped with an end-to-end intelligent driving assistance system jointly developed by BMW and Momenta, offering full-scenario coverage for both urban and highway driving. The infotainment system seamlessly integrates with Huawei HiCar and Apple CarPlay, and incorporates Alibaba’s AI large language model and DeepSeek’s advanced reasoning capabilities.
Performance and Charging
The new iX3 utilizes an 800V high-voltage architecture, achieving an official energy consumption of just 15.1kWh per 100 kilometers and a CLTC range exceeding 900 kilometers. The dual-motor version delivers a combined power output of 351kW (477 horsepower). Fast charging adds 400 kilometers of range in just 10 minutes, and it can charge from 10% to 80% in 21 minutes.
