MTS Introduces ‘Super Freedom’ Tariff for Prepaid Service Subscribers

    mtsOn September 1, the MTS Ukraine mobile communication operator introduced Super Freedom tariff plan for the subscribers of prepaid service.

    In frames of the tariff, a subscriber is provided with sixty minutes a day for calls to mobile and fixed number all over Ukraine and also 10 MB of mobile Internet with the subscriber fee of UAH 3 a day.

    The package minutes are accrued after the first one-time topping up of the account for UAH 80 and more.

    The cost of calls to all operators’ numbers is UAH 0.6 per minute.

    The payment for connection is UAH 0.1.

    As Ukrainian News earlier reported, in July, the number of subscribers to the mobile communications services of MTS Ukraine company rose by 1.2% or 0.21 million people to 17.71 million. The number of subscribers decreased by 0.4% or 0.08 million compared to July 2009.

    In June the number of subscribers to the mobile communications services of MTS Ukraine company rose by 0.5% or 0.08 million to 17.5 million people.

    MTS finished 2009 with a net profit of UAH 640.3 million. In 2009, the operator decreased its net revenues by 4.9% or UAH 421.5 million, comparing with 2008, to UAH 8,172.7 million.

    Mobile Telesystems (MTS) of Russia owns 100% of the shares in MTS Ukraine.
