The National Council for Television and Radio on Wednesday included the Belarus-TV channel (information-educational, Belarus) and Da Vinci Learning channel (popular scientific, Germany) in the list of television channels allowed for rebroadcast in Ukraine.
The National Council for Television and Radio endorsed this decision at its meeting.
Thus, the list of foreign television channels allowed for broadcast in Ukraine includes 119 channels.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the National Council for Television and Radio in May 2010 included in the list of foreign television channels allowed for broadcast in Ukraine the following Russian television channels: Questions and Answers (educational), Evrokino (films), Domestic Animals (educational), 365 Days (journalistic and educational), Psychology 21 (popular scientific).
The National Council for Television and Radio in May also included in the list British channels Sci Fi Channel and Universal channel (films).
