The total subscriber base of all mobile carriers in Ukraine in October 2009 decreased by 231, 109 thousand, or 0.4%, compared to September, down to 55, 229 million. This is stated in the report by AC & M Consulting.
Besides this, the level of nominal penetration of mobile communication in Ukraine in October decreased by 0.5%, compared to September, from 120.5% to 120% of the total population.
As of October 30, the market share of mobile operators were as follows: Kyivstar – 40,1%, “UMS” (TM “MTS-Ukraine) – 32,1%, Astelit (TM life:) — 21,5% and “CSR” (TM Beeline) – 3,8%. At the same time decrease of number of subscribers was demonstrated by all mobile operators in Ukraine, without any exception.
According to IKS-Consulting, the total subscriber base of cellular operators in Ukraine in September 2009 was 55, 53 million.
